Postdoctoral Researcher
The Sampognaro Lab at UCSF is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher. The position involves basic and translational work on the cellular mechanisms behind ALS and FTD, with the goal of developing new therapies. The lab is collaborative and focused on rigorous science.
Candidates should hold a PhD or MD, communicate well, and have a background in one or more of neuroscience, cell biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, or bioengineering. Experience culturing iPSCs or cerebral organoids is a plus but not required. We aim to be a welcoming, fun place to train.
